The video workshop is one of the breakthroughs of the II Festival. During the event, a mini TV studio was set up with Philco Hitachi PCK 100 video cameras, lighting and Philco Hitashi PVC 2000 video recorders. It was an audio and image lab with external terminals through which the audience could watch as the work progressed.
The purpose of this workshop was to teach the rudiments of TV language and technique, and to enable creative expansion through access to video equipment. The workshop was organized and directed by Sérgio Tastaldi, a draftsman, animator and independent videomaker.
