At the invitation of the 22nd Biennial, four artists perform immersions in the event's exhibition spaces, with the aim of reflecting on the works, the curatorial concepts they express and the ideas raised by the Public Programs’ meetings. The experience provides for a public presentation of the result of the experience by the guest, according to their field of activity. In order to expand the debates and issues raised by the Biennial, the presentations are organized around guiding thematic axes.
aarea is a curatorial platform that commissions and exhibits artworks conceived for the internet. Managed by Marcela Vieira and Lívia Benedetti, the activities involve a public curatorial program, courses, seminars and partnerships with other art institutions. The duo casts a look at the Biennial in search of connections between digital art and archive.
